Terms of Service

1. What BeautyOS provides

BeautyOS provides software for beauty professionals and businesses: a website, online booking, client records, payments processing through third-party processors, marketing tools, and related services described on our website. We provide the software. You provide the beauty services to your own clients.

BeautyOS is not a party to the relationship between you and your clients. We do not employ you, supervise your work, or guarantee any outcome of a service you perform.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for the actions taken by people you invite to it, and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorisation.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must hold any licence or registration your jurisdiction requires for the services you offer.

3. Your content and your clients

You retain ownership of everything you upload: photographs, service descriptions, prices, and client records. You grant BeautyOS the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content in order to operate the service you have asked for.

You are responsible for having permission to upload images of other people, and for honouring any consent a client withdraws. BeautyOS provides consent-tracking tools; using them correctly is your responsibility.

4. Payments to you

Payments from your clients are processed by third-party payment processors under your own merchant account. Funds settle directly to you according to that processor’s terms. BeautyOS does not hold your revenue and is not a money transmitter.

You are responsible for your own taxes, refunds, chargebacks and disputes with clients.

5. Fees you pay us

Subscription fees are billed in advance for the period you select and are stated at the time of purchase. Usage-based charges, where they apply, are billed in arrears.

We may change prices with at least thirty days notice before the change takes effect for you. If you do not accept a price change you may cancel before it applies.

Domain registrations, renewals and business email are sold at the price shown at checkout and are generally non-refundable once registered, because they are non-reversible with the registry.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BeautyOS to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use
• Publish images of a person without their permission
• Post fabricated reviews, or reviews written on someone else’s behalf
• Misrepresent qualifications, licences or the services you provide
• Send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them
• Attempt to access another business’s data
• Interfere with, probe or overload the service

7. Artificial intelligence features

BeautyOS includes AI features that draft content, answer client questions and suggest prices. These features operate from the configuration you provide. Output should be reviewed before it is relied upon.

AI features do not provide medical, dermatological or diagnostic advice, and must not be presented to clients as doing so. See our How We Use AI page for the specific limits we enforce.

8. Availability

We work to keep BeautyOS available and to protect your data, but no online service is uninterrupted. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.

9. Cancellation and data export

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. You can export your clients, appointments, and financial records before and after cancellation.

We retain your data for a limited period after cancellation so an account can be restored, then delete it. You may request earlier deletion.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BeautyOS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect. Continuing to use BeautyOS after that date means you accept the updated terms.
